Position: Duty Manager

Venue: Springs Leisure Centre

Salary: £13.60 per hour

Hours: 37 per week

Duty Manager is a key role, with responsibility for the day-to-day operations in our venues, leading by example, ensuring everyone in our delivery teams is focused on providing all our customers and service users with a positive experience each and every visit.

Duty Managers line manage and supervise Leisure staff on duty, ensure staffing structures and rotas are in place and that cover is arranged for classes and services as needed, including providing lifeguard cover themselves in our pool venues if needed.

They ensure all customers and service users receive the highest level of advice, assistance and support and that all venue health and safety procedures are adhered to, acting as designated key holders for venues and responding to emergencies as required.

If you have some experience in supervising staff, ideally in a leisure facility, of delivering excellent customer service and a desire to grow and develop your career in Leisure then we would love to hear from you.

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential for the role.

A current First Aid At Work certificate, defibrillator qualification and full driving licence are desirable also.

Hours are full time – 37 hrs per week, with evening and weekend working as required as part of a rota.
