Role Overview: As a Venue Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Park Lane Casino adheres to all relevant compliance regulations, including customer due diligence, anti-money laundering, and safer gambling requirements. You'll be responsible for conducting routine checks, managing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance across the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake routine Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) checks on new, lapsed, or existing customers.
  • Conduct regular customer account assessments for Source of Funds/Wealth, affordability, and sustainability.
  • Review reports of potentially suspicious activity and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with internal protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Relations team to ensure VIP and high-value customers meet all EDD requirements.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to managers and operational staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Track key compliance metrics and Key Performance Indicators, and develop action plans to address any areas of concern.
  • Ensure that all Safer Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) literature and signage are up-to-date and correctly displayed.
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive information.
  • Act as a point of contact for central compliance and MLRO for any ad hoc reporting or support as required.

Required Skills and Behaviours:

  • Confidence and credibility when dealing with peers, senior colleagues, and customers.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong research skills and familiarity with company procedures and databases related to social responsibility and AML.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized and proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements relating to Anti-Money Laundering, Countering Terrorist Financing, and Social Responsibility.
  • Professional, polished, and articulate, with a positive attitude and a commitment to the company's service standards.

Desirable Skills:

  • ICA specialist certificate in AML or related field.
  • Experience in the land-based casino industry.

Requirements:

  • You must be aged 18 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
