We are on the lookout for a superstar General Manager to come and board and run one of our prime residential Gym and Spa’s located in London. We are looking for a proven Manager to take the reigns and manage the team and stakeholders within the wider development.

The site opening hours are 6am – 10pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 8pm on weekends. The successful candidate must have the ability to be on time for early shifts and work late shifts as and when this may be required.  

Experience

  • A minimum of two years’ previous experience working in a professional fitness and wellbeing environment with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and quality outcomes.
  • Highly professional and able to understand, anticipate and deliver outstanding customer service in a 5-star environment.
  • Experience of leading fitness and wellbeing teams. Leading by example and using coaching skills to develop others.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary fitness, wellbeing, and clinical environment an advantage
  • Able to understand site budgets and deliver against set KPIs.
  • Commercially aware and able to drive secondary revenues.
  • Exceptional people/ interpersonal skills able to build relationships with a variety of senior stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate a professional and organised approach to the role.
  • Previously worked to policy and procedures.
  • Logical thinker with strong attention to detail, able to spot errors and resolve issues
  • Professional service approach knowledge
  • Confident and outgoing nature
  • Great team player and can take ownership and responsibility.
  • Knowledge of current wellbeing trends
  • Day to day technology knowledge – MS Office, apps,
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English  

Desired qualifications

  • Emergency responder
  • Emergency First aid at Work
  • CIMSPA Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • National Pool Plant Operator  

Required qualifications/experience

  • Management experience essential
  • Level 3 Personal Training
