Public Area Assistant - About you 

  • Experience in housekeeping or professional cleaning is desirable
  • Hotel or hospitality experience is desirable
  • Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues
  • A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude

Key responsibilities of the Public Area Assistant

  • Take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of our hotel public areas and offices to the hotel's 5 star standards
  • To be able to work alone as well as part of the team in a busy yet flexible operation
  • Keep all equipment and stock in the housekeeping office and cupboards neat and presentable at all times
  • Report any maintenance or equipment faults to the relevant department
  • Take ownership in completing tasks set by the management team in a timely manner, and report any faults or breakages to the relevant department
  • Be confident and intuitive when using cleaning materials and equipment
