WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR …
We have commenced the search for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager for The Celtic Manor Resort.
You will need a five or four star hotel background and to be able to demonstrate a track record of leading a housekeeping team keeping the hotel in a condition commensurate to the highest standards.
You will provide inspiring leadership and encourage high performance team working. You must show how you can quickly innovate and react to change, encourage innovation in others and influence each team member in a way that promotes ownership and pride in the business.
You will set high standards of performance and inspire your team to keep the highest standards of cleanliness.
You must have a solid understanding of the luxury hotel market, have a proactive approach, exceptional guest and interpersonal skills and be results orientated.
WHAT YOU’LL DO …
Working with the Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the day to day housekeeping team and assist in the planning of schedules depending on business demands.
You will assist in recruiting the team, ensuring that they are fully trained to deliver a world-class guest service.
You will drive exceptional guest service through a passionate and engaging team.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to inspire and lead a team and have the experience to deal with the pressures of day-to-day hotel housekeeping issues.
