Aramark at Chessington World of Adventures is recruiting for a Restaurant & Bar Duty Manager!
We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager to join the Hotel Restaurant team on a full- time and permanent basis, based at one of the UK's leading theme parks.
You will support the Restaurant Manager by managing the day-to-day operations of a restaurant and be a natural inspiration to the team.
In this exciting and varied role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth shift operation, focusing on ensuring that our guests are having a great experience and that their needs are being met.
Using your initiative and experience, you will be able to think quickly on your feet and delegate tasks within the team on shift.

A day in the life of a Duty Manager:
- Keep the team motivated and engaged throughout service- and making it fun!
- Assist in the management of labour costs through ensuring we are being efficient
- Drive revenue and RPS (Revenue per sleeper) and strive to hit daily & weekly financial targets
- Maintain & drive high standards of cleanliness and organization FOH & BOH
- Manage daily and weekly checklists & cleaning schedules
- Deliver outstanding customer service and deal with guest complaints
- Ensure stock is managed, secured and rotated effectively
- Build a strong relationship with other departments and having a “one team” ethos
- Ensure seamless communication between the front of house and kitchen team
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- The ability to motivate and inspire a team of people using your passion and enthusiasm
- Fantastic people skills
- The ability to make decisions
- Time management and planning
- Be able to use outlook and Microsoft office effectively
- A strong understanding of food safety and health & safety
- Experience within a busy bar & restaurant environment
- Experience with stock control
- Cellar Management including line cleaning would be advantageous
