Cafe Key Holder - Hangleton

The Flour Pot Bakery is a retail and wholesale artisan bakery with stores in Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

We are seeking a Key Holder to help run Flour Pot store in Hangleton. The right candidate will have similar experience in a high quality cafe environment, have a good understanding and passion for the high end coffee world, with practical know-how around an espresso machine a must. Creating a fantastic customer experience and workplace environment for your team is crucial to this role, as well as personality, drive and a level head. You will also have the responsibility of opening and closing the site.

As well as being a barista and working the front of house, you will be responsible for opening and closing the building. Opens will include, ensuring that deliveries arrive on time and the store is set up to an excellent standard and ready to go for when the doors open. During the close down you will be responsible for ensuring that all closing checklists are followed and double checked, recording wastage and cashing up.

Opening at 7:30am, we get a steady trade of locals/commuters who enjoy coming in for their regular coffee and pastry treat. Moving into lunchtime and early afternoon, we drive a higher footfall of families and locals, who stop by for a coffee/ spot of lunch. 

Shift patterns are normally split as either an open or close, opening at 6:30am and finishing at 3pm or a close, where you will start at 9am and finish at 5pm.
