Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced, proactive and dedicated Assistant Hospitality Manager to join the fantastic team at Colchester Institute, CO3 3LL

As a Hospitality Manager you will ensure the smooth operation and success of the hospitality offering on site whilst leading the team. We are looking for an individual with a strong hospitality / catering background who is willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. You will pride yourself on having high standards and being able to work as part of a team to get things done.

A day in the life of a Hospitality Manager:

• Managing a team of staff on site to include all recruitment, onboarding, training, development plans, appraisals, performance management, offboarding etc
• Oversee and manage hospitality operations across the site
• Drive standards and implement new ideas putting your own stamp on things
• Carry out accurate administrative duties associated with Conference, Hospitality and Events
• Budget and stock management
• Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships through providing a client facing service
• Compliance with statutory legislation/company policy food safety and health and safety including HACCP and allergen awareness
• Menu management

You'll be set up for success if you have:

• A background in food service/ hospitality
• Experience managing a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
• A strong team player who has a can do attitude
