IQ is looking for an Analyst who will play a central role across the Investment and Asset Management functions, helping to deliver the iQ business plan & drive the deliver of key transformation projects. This person will be responsible for supporting the team on all aspects of asset management focusing on, market research/analysis, property valuations in partnership with our external valuers, the preparation and presentation of key portfolio information.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide analytical support to members of the team primarily for projects involving existing assets and developments;
  • Work with our external valuers to support the annual asset valuation process, managing information requests and analysing our portfolio valuation
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to improve our reporting systems and data capture to improve transparency and efficiency;
  • Work with the Capital Projects team to monitor performance and returns against capital budget expenditure;
  • Monitor and report on key business, market, industry and competitor data;
  • Support internal and external communication through the production of reports and commentaries;
  • Periodically visit iQ portfolio sites to build knowledge of the portfolio and review asset management opportunities 

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in real estate private equity, private equity, investment banking or other finance roles
  •  Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of “financial modelling” including appreciation of key valuation concepts
  •  Proven experience in an analytical role preferably within the real estate sector however most important to show transferable experience
  •  Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Ability to research, analyse and present complex financial data
  • Effective financial modelling skills with the ability to both run and make changes to existing models, as well as build models in line with best practice
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel

We work a hybrid working model with 3 days in our office in London Bridge
