A day in the life of a Chef Manager

• Take ownership and accountability of all operational food and coffee management; production and service
• Hot and Cold Food Production for Hot Food deli grab & go items (sandwiches, wraps, salads)
• Hot Counter Food Service Breakfast & Lunch
• Operating tills
• Organising and Coordinating Hospitality
• Working on a scheduled Saturday for school sports days serving refreshments
• Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return
• Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and reports are completed correctly and at the right time
• Be accountable for the management and delivery of budget food subsidy, including GP & labour costs 
• Be accountable for stock flow and rotation of products
• Ensure a consistent high standard of hospitality offer 

You'll be set up for success if you have..

• Experience operating as a Chef and able to run the unit and manage a team
• School / contract catering experience
• Hands on and reliable with a strong work ethic
• Passion for people and food
