We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to be a part of our integral team here at Dumfries & Galloway College, Bankend Road, Dumfries, DG1 4FD

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and deliver hot and cold beverages to customers
• Cleaning of front and back of house
• Operating the till and cash handling
• Restocking goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Light cleaning duties to company standard
• Working as part of a great team to ensure the smooth operation of the outlet
• Ensuring front and back of house are kept clean and tidy
• Providing excellent customer service throughout

Experience

• Great customer service and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Experience in hospitality is an advantage but on the job training will be given
• Needs to be outgoing, have great customer care skills and an eye for detail
• A team player who is flexible and works towards high standards
