Salary: £11.44 per hour

We have a fantastic opportunity a Catering Assistant to join an extremely successful team in Tranent, due to the location of our client you will need access to a vehicle.

This is a Monday – Friday Position with no late evenings. This position is 35 hours a week, 7am till 2.30pm.

You will support in an efficient and smooth operation and in our goal to deliver a World-Class service, your goal is to exceed customer expectations and provide a “wow” factor in the cafes while maintaining consistency high standards of client and customer service.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:

• Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Aramark.
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Preparation of service area and/or service points.
• Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations always.
• To always present an image conducive to good customer relations.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s equal opportunity policy.

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• High personal standards and attention to detail
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be provided
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good level of English is Essential
• Keen interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledge
