We are currently recruiting for a Mess Manager to be a part of our integral team in Vimy Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PS

Main responsibilities include...

• Efficient management of the Mess which caters breakfast, lunch and dinner for mess members and accommodation for live-in members.
• Managing your team, making sure the best service is available to our customer whilst the unit is open
• To oversee a smooth day to day running of the mess’s
• Organizing day to day hospitality functions and dinners
• Completion of company paperwork
• Reception duties
• Cash handling and till operation
• Motivating and leading your team, leading by example
• Provide excellent customer service to the clients and deal with complaints effectively and efficiently.
• Efficient management of functions, hospitality, and events
• Ensuring that we deliver high quality customer service to the mess members and other military personnel

Qualifications

• · Experience of running high volume hospitality
• · Previous operational experience working within a mess, contract catering, hotel or restaurant environment is desirable
• · Must be able to show good leadership skills, this role would suit someone looking to move up the management ladder
• · Good financial awareness and knowledge in managing budgets and growing sales
• · Good PC skills
