Pay: £35,000.00 per year

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Catering Manager to be based on site at Eastgate, Loch & Larder, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness, IV2 3PP.

This individual will work as part of a team and oversee one main kitchen serving a range of different dishes throughout the course of the day. The post holder will also oversee the day to day running of the busy restaurant which can seat up to 174 people at one time!

This is a busy hands on position for a talented management professional.

A day in the life of a Catering Manager:

• Managing a team of staff to include all recruitment, onboarding, training, development plans, appraisals, performance management, offboarding etc
• Management of the site and food production which includes the Coffee bar and Food Court
• Budget and stock management
• Internal and external stakeholder management
• Compliance with statutory legislation/company policy food safety and health and safety including HACCP and allergen awareness
• Develop initiatives to drive sales and consumer participation

You'll be set up for success if you have:

• Experience in a people management role and demonstrated experience managing a team to success
• A hospitality/culinary background managing food production to tight budgets and to volumes
• A resilient and hardworking individual ideally with a background in hospitality would be advantageous
