The Walled Garden Family Facility opened in Spring 2021. With an indoor pool, outside play areas and activities, tennis courts and a café, we are now excited to be hiring an Assistant Manager to support in the operation of this stunning facility.

Purpose of the role:

Responsibility for the day to day running of the Walled Garden Operation, seeking to ensure the very highest standards of service to Woodcote Juniors, Members and Guests. To take personal responsibility for all standards of service across the Walled Garden and to ensure the successful and safe running of the facility. To support and deliver initiatives from the Walled Garden Manager and to provide clear communication to staff and members on operational matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Walled Garden Manager with budgetary plans and ensure expenditure and revenue meets approved targets
  • Leading the team to deliver high quality and consistent standards with service, goods and products, in line with Leading Quality Assurance
  • Resource planning and people management, career conversation and managing performance to develop and support staff
  • Respond to member feedback in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with the rules of the Clubhouses Health and Safety Policy, monitoring all standard operational procedures ensuring they are being adhered to
