General Manager

General Manager Maidstone 39K basic OTE 45K

We are looking to recruit a hands-on General Manager to run a well-established and successful family entertainment centre/adventure park in Maidstone generating a turnover in excess of £1m per annum. You will be leading a large team of full and part time staff which can rise to around 70 team members during the peak trading weeks of school holidays with multiple children's parties taking place during the week over and above the jumping and numerous themed events that take place. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the team to deliver the operational plan and company ways of working ensure customers have a consistently positive experience.
• Be process and systems orientated with exacting standards for health and safety compliance.
• Ensure labour budgets are managed closely in relation to budget and in line with bookings.
• Commercially astute to drive multiple revenue streams including admissions, party bookings, exclusive hire and the cafe.
• Execute local sales and marketing plans, including social media management.
• Will enjoy the ongoing coaching and development of your management team and front-line staff.
• Work duty management shifts and a minimum of 3 weekends out of 4. Working Hours are typically 8.30am -9.30pm.

Ideal backgrounds will be:

• 3 years managerial experience leading a customer focused high footfall business, ideally in family entertainment, health and fitness, hospitality, or retail management.
• A front of house approach to leading and coaching teams and delivering a great customer experience.
• Have an analytical approach and a passion to be the very best.
• Be first aid qualified and have a strong knowledge of health and safety.

In addition to a competitive basic salary of up to 39K, there is an annual performance related bonus of up to 6k, 28 days holiday per annum with free parking on site. There are also excellent opportunities to develop your career as the business continues to expand throughout the country.
