Apprentice Chef -  About the role

As an Apprentice Chef you will be working towads a Level 2 Commis Chef with umbrella Training. You will need a passion for food and a willingness to learn, some experience in the kitchen would be beneficial. 

Apprentice Chef - Responsibilities 

  • To take pride in high standards of specified work in accordance with the team of chef's and the Head Chef's instructions;
  • To prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibility, to be passionate about the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are met at all times under guidance from a senior chef;
  • To work as part of a team in a constructive manner that enables the hotel to achieve the objective of being a market leader in the luxury hotel sector.
  • Work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends

Apprentice Chef - About You

  • A genuine interest in food and an enthusiasm for creating good food
  • A willingness to work hard in a busy environment
  • Good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in your working hours as you will be required to work Early and Late Shifts on a 5 day rota including weekends and bank holidays.
