Summary

We're looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our stunning holiday cottages at White Edge Lodge (White Edge Moor Longshaw), Yarncliff Lodge (Nether Padley) and Greenwood Farm, Sheffield Road Hathersage.

 

 

Hours: 10 hours per week. The main changeover day being a Monday, Thursday and Friday, however, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week, and you would have the opportunity to work other, additional hours if you are able to do so.

Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'

Market Supplement “Role / Location allowance” trial Amount £1,560 per annum 

Employees in roles attracting market supplement “Role / Location allowance” receive a monthly payment in addition to their basic salary to reflect current external market factors affecting recruitment and retention.

The market supplement ““Role / Location allowance” is paid in 12 equal monthly amounts and is subject to tax and national insurance deductions. Such payments are pensionable and are included in calculations for benefits such as sick pay, family leave pay and redundancy.

The market supplement “Role / Location allowance” trial will be applied until 01/12/2025 when it will be reviewed. If it is to be removed fully the Trust will issue a notice of intent and articulate a stepped reduction of 75%, 50%, 25% over a minimum of three years. Payment will cease immediately if an employee moves to a role that does not attract a Market Supplement “Role / Location allowance” allowance. 

 


What it's like to work here

 

 

 

You'll be part of a friendly team working across holiday cottages on the Longshaw Estate. Normal working days will be Monday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 10 - 4. Occasionally there may be some variation to this.

What you'll be doing

 

 

 

On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.

 

 

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
