Aramark has an exciting job opening for a Catering Manager at Redford Barracks in Edinburgh.

Salary - £30,000 per annum

Are you currently a Catering Manager looking for a change or working as a Chef looking to make the next step up. We are currently recruiting a Catering Manager to oversee the catering operations for Army Cadet Training Camps throughout Scotland.

The ingredients for success

You will probably come from a contract catering background, but either way, you will be a proven chef and you will have some management experience.

You will be a great planner, who can plan diverse menus and order all stock while keeping within set catering budgets. You will be able to organise staff rotas and deliver staff training.

You must have great communication skills as you will be required to liaise with customers and clients on a regular basis.

You must adhere to Health & Safety regulations and food safety protocols/policies.

The role can sometimes be mobile so a driving licence is required.

You will be Edinburgh based but you will get to work across Scotland so travel shouldn’t be an issue.

Qualifications and experience needed

• Relevant culinary qualification

• Strong organisational skills

• Driving licence with no more than 6 points

• A passion for food and service

• Flexible approach to hours and duties

• Due to the nature of the site Security clearance will be required
