At Kimpton Fitzroy London, we are looking for a Painter & Decorator to join our team.

Reporting to the on-site Maintenance Manager we are looking to recruit a qualified Painter & Decorator who has experience working within a hotel environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering a great service and has a great understanding of Health & Safety.

You will be working alongside a team of skilled Maintenance Assistants and be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team.

As our Painter & Decorator your will involve:

• Preparing surfaces, filling holes, and sealing cracks
• Removing old paint and paper by sanding or scraping
• Inspecting painted surfaces and rectifying flaws or defects
• Replacing or repairing plaster board
• Evaluating jobs and ensuring the correct quantity and quality of materials is ordered
• Maintaining stock levels for current and future jobs
• Tidying and cleaning tools
