Reporting to Golf & Games Manager

2-3 days a week Mon- Sun

07:30-16:00 or 10:00-18:30

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Job Purpose:

To ensure the Club rules are adhered to by all members, guests & visitors who use the Golf facilities and to facilitate tee starting times under the guidance of the Club Professional, whilst offering a welcoming meet and greet service to all players.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure members & guests adhere to the Club dress code
• To check that membership passes and guest tickets are clearly displayed and correct
• To monitor starting on the 1st and 10th tees, ensuring that games start on the correct tee, and to monitor pace of play and etiquette
• To report any H&S or Club Rules related incidents
• To keep the 1st tee area, trolley sheds and 7th hole halfway hut, clean, tidy and stocked with necessary supplies
• To keep the single-seater ride-on buggies clean & charged, and the marshal’s buggy clean & fuelled
• To wear the correct uniform and/or protective clothing provided by the Club at all times whilst on duty.
• To provide first aid to any golfer on the course when called upon, contacting the Pro Shop for assistance if necessary.
• To follow the checklists and other operational standards and guidelines in the Marshal’s Handbook.
