As a cornerstone of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor to join our team and uphold the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction.

Job Purpose:

As a Security Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise a team of security officers around the clock in a cost effective may, maintaining a visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate actions, while also providing proactive and responsive customer service to enhance the guest journey.

  • Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of security officers, ensuring coverage 24/7 to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • People Management: Handle all aspects of personnel management, including rota's, performance evaluations, training, and development.
  • Attendance Management: Monitor and address issues related to sickness, lateness, and absence, always ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough initial investigations into security incidents, accidents, or violations of company policies, documenting findings and reporting to the Security Manager.
  • Disciplinary Processes: Assist Security Manager to enforce disciplinary procedures when warranted, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a thorough understanding of security protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to the Security Manager, detailing security incidents, staffing issues, and other relevant matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in security or law enforcement, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software.
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Level 2.
  • Valid First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Reporting To: Security Manager

Job Purpose: Manage and develop the security team, aligning performance to achieve objectives. Prevention of crime and disorder, uphold licence objectives and to protect staff, venue, and patrons.

Working Hours: The minimum hours of work will be 40 hours per week inclusive of meal breaks. Actual hours worked will depend upon the needs of the business. You may occasionally be required to work varying hours and days to meet business needs.
