OVERVIEW
An opportunity has arisen for a Bar Manager to work at our 5* Resort.
Working at our prestigious venue means high quality of service at all
times.
WHAT
ARE WE LOOKING FOR …
The ideal candidate will have a friendly manner and a calm, confident
personality. You will need a passion for delivering outstanding guest
service, be able to provide evidence of excellent people management skills
and the ability to deal with the pressures of day-to-day operational
issues.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in a similar
role, managing a team of 20+. Experience in training and appraising
staff, excellent beverage knowledge and high levels of numeracy are also
essential.
WHAT
YOU’LL DO …
You will take responsibility for the bar operations, have great
product knowledge of all beverages and have good stock control
skills. You will also be responsible for managing, motivating and
ensuring that all team members are up to date with current licensing laws,
they maintain high standards of courtesy, service and cleanliness of the bar
area.
You must ensure that the team provides a friendly and professional
service to our guests, ensure beverages are prepared and presented in line
with the Resort’s specification and orders of food and beverage are served
promptly.
Other responsibilities will include ensuring liquor control is
strictly maintained at all times and all usage, transfers and requisitions
are correctly completed as per hotel standards. You will also conduct all
administrative work to include weekly scheduling, forecasting, and attendance
records etc.
