Hampton by Hilton Nuneaton will form part of the Abbey Street mixed-use redevelopment that will include a residential component alongside workspaces, a large cinema complex, a food hall and landscaped public spaces. The hotel will feature 145 rooms, meeting space and a fitness centre. 

Hampton by Hilton Nuneaton is an important addition to this ambitious town centre redevelopment and will support the growth of Nuneaton as a regional business and leisure hub. Do you want to be part of this exciting project? 

Looking to open our doors in August 2024, we are excited to announce that we are now recruiting for a Kitchen Manager to join our pre-opening team.

  • What will I be doing?

    • Support/ Manage and train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organised and motivated team
    • Ensure consistency in the quality of dishes at all times
    • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, Health and Safety, and stock procedures
    • Ensure resources meet business needs through the effective management of working rotas
    • Support brand standards through the training and assessment of your team
    • Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
    • Knowledge of activities in other departments and implications

    What are we looking for?

    • Experience in a similar role, would suit a strong Sous Chef or previous Junior Head Chef equivalent with relevant qualifications for the role.
    • Experience in managing and training team members, and managing food cost controls, with a full understanding of compliance with food hygiene, Health and Safety, and stock procedures. 
    • Focused service brand knowledge an advantage
    • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
    • Good communication skills
    • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
